Ross Dock Picnic Area is a large scenic riverfront picnic area just north of the George Washington Bridge in Fort Lee, New Jersey. Saddle River County Park is a 577-acre linear park that meanders with the Saddle River and its tributary brooks. It consists of five park areas that are linked by a multi-use path, including circular paths around some ponds. The bike and pedestrian path travels from Ridgewood to Rochelle Park and is approximately 6 miles in length. It follows the Saddle River and Ho-Ho-Kus Brook and passes by the Historic Easton Tower at Route 4. The path features a scenic waterfall at Dunkerhook Park, and there are three ponds, tree-shaded picnic areas, pavilions, playgrounds, tennis courts, and athletic fields accessible along the path.

4) Allamuchy State Park Rock Climbing

Approximately 1 hour from most of Northern New Jersey and New York City, a great location for a relaxing day of top roping and short leads. Hidden off the road, Allamuchy is nice and shady on a hot summer day. Northeast Mountain Guiding, Riverview Outdoors as well as other services use the main wall on weekends during the summer. The instructors are friendly, but there are some shorter gems left on the main wall in the woods.

Tallman Mountain State Park is a 687-acre state park in the wooded country on the easterly slope of the Palisades uplands overlooking the Hudson and Piermont Marsh, which lies between the river and the slope. Pine Meadow Lake is a 72-acre lake in Rockland County, New York. It is found at an elevation of 974 feet (297 m). It is located at the end of the 5.5-mile Pine Meadow Trail in Harriman State Park.

Paramus Mini Golf course is an outdoor mini golf course. Its theme is based on various locations and historical people in the New York Metropolitan area. One of the holes has a miniaturized George Washington Bridge spanning over a little stream. There is a replica of the Fritz Behnke Historical Museum in Paramus, a Red Mill reminiscent of Cooper’s Pond in Bergenfield, a decorated sign that says “Welcomes to the Jersey Shore,” and a nearby figurine of a bird in a bathing suit, eating a hot dog. The most iconic part of the 18-hole course is its small-scale model of the Statue of Liberty standing proudly in its own little pond.

Fireball Mountain’s outdoor laser tag facility is open year-round & featuring themed fields on 15 wooded acres. As one of the premier playing fields, this village has 30 different distinct structures. Each structure is anywhere from 100 sq ft to a whopping 350 sq ft with multiple rooms. There are also underground tunnels, a 2nd story catwalk, and sniper towers. This is one of our smallest playing areas (at about 1 1/2 acres), but it is also one of the most challenging to navigate.
